LONG GROVE — Pauline Olson, 84, of Long Grove, died Saturday at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.
She was born Aug. 29, 1922, in Maquoketa to William H. and Rosie C. Elsner Buck. She married Alvin C. Olson on Feb. 10, 1940, in Davenport. He died in 1996.
She and her husband farmed in the Monmouth area for 10 years. She also owned and operated Concrete Arts in Welton for several years.
She was an honorary member of the 434 Union Retirees Club, Moline, Ill.
Survivors include two daughters, Judith A. (Carl) Carnes of DeWitt and Joyce E. (Wayne) Gay of Long Grove; sons, Donald L. (Mary) Olson of Preston and Gary M. Olson of Clinton; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Leola Burroughs of Davenport.
