Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lemke Funeral Home, South Chapel, 2600 Lincoln Way.

SERVICES: 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

LAKELAND, Fla. — Edith Jane Rorah, 67, of Lakeland and formerly of Maquoketa, died Wednesday at her home.

Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bill Otto, Wendell Provow, Leroy Rorah, Davis Zinck, Jeremy Moore and Jack Hans.

She was born July 21, 1939, in Maquoketa to Fred and Louise Behnke Weideman. She married Howard Rorah in June of 1957 in Maquoketa.

She graduated from Maquoketa High School.

She was employed as a computer operator with Northern Illinois University.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Lakeland.

Survivors include two sons, Donald (Lois) Rorah and Dwayne Rorah, both of Lakeland; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hilda (Floyd) Prussia of Wheatland, Evelyn Dodds of Maquoketa and Elsie Knutsen of DeWitt; and two brothers, Fred (Bernice) Weideman of Clinton and George (Marvella) Weideman of Ankeny.

Memorials may be made to the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, one brother, two brothers-in-law and one grandchild.

Death date: Jan. 10, 2007
