Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

CLINTON — Marilyn L. Kahler, 67, of Clinton, died Tuesday at her home.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Pete Andresen, Derrick Lange, Shanon Rohloff, Tim Indelicato, Steven and David Kahler.

She was born Nov. 27, 1939, in Clinton to Charles and Imogene Taylor Franks. She married Dean Kahler on May 19, 1956, in Morrison, Ill. He died in 1999.

She attended Clinton schools.

She worked for several years as a caregiver with the Syline Center, Clinton, before retiring in 2004.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Cathy (Jim) Johnson and April Kahler both of Clinton; one son, Mike (Diane) Kahler of Lathrop, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Dixie West of Anderson, Ind.; one stepson, David (Sherri) Kahler of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Nancy (Dale) Bott of Clinton; and one brother, Roger (Marcia) Franks of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
