Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. today at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt.
SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt, with the Rev. Garland Gotoski officiating.
DEWITT — Lucille Rix, 82, of DeWitt, died Tuesday at Westwing Place, DeWitt.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.
Pallbearers will be Dennis, Dan, Jay and Jeff Burzlaff, Mike and Mark Selby, Rick and Scott Swenson and Sean and John David Ferrell.
She was born June 19, 1924, near DeWitt to Henry and Anna Schroeder Rix.
She was a 1941 graduate of Elvira High School and assisted with the family farm operation.
She was a lifetime member of Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt. She was a member of the Hannah Circle and the sewing ladies. She assisted with services at Westwing Place, volunteered at the Davenport Lutheran Home and was a member of the Thursday prayer warrior service.
Survivors include four nieces and nephews; and 27 great-nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Grace Lutheran Church or Westwing Place.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
