Visitation: 9 a.m. until the service time at First Baptist Church, Galva. Rux Funeral Home, Galva, is in charge of arrangements.
SERVICES: 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Paul Sowden officiating.
GALVA, Ill. — Judith “Judy” Mae Anderson, 82, of Galva, died Tuesday at her home.
Burial will be in Galva Cemetery.
She was born June 4, 1924, in Houston Township, Ill., to Raymond H. and Edith Taylor Willis. She married James W. Anderson on Feb. 21, 1942, in Canton, Mo. He died in 2006.
She attended schools in Adams County and high school in Lorraine, Ill.
During the early years of her marriage, she spent time on various farms in the Galesburg, Ill., area. She and her family later moved to Galva.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Galva. She was a past matron for the Order of the Eastern Star and member of the Galesburg Mothers of Twins Club.
Survivors include three sons, Jack (Judy) Anderson of Columbia City, Ind., Roy (Judy) Anderson of Maricopa, Ariz., and Terry (Linda) Anderson of Galva; two daughters, Janis (Michael) Jones of Savanna, Ill., and Janet (Rick) Carlson of Parker, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Keith (Helen) Wills of McHenry, Ill., and Thomas Emery Wills of Shorewood, Ill.; and one sister, Jean Mariana of Gilbert, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and three sisters.
