SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Dennis Glew officiating.
CLINTON — Helen A. Jensen, 93, of Clinton, died Tuesday at Bluff Terrace Nursing Facility, Clinton.
Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William, Tracy, Glenn, David, Bryan and Kyle Anson.
She was born Aug. 24, 1913, in Clinton County to Chris and Sophia Sass Goenne. She married Charles M. Jensen on Sept. 11, 1931, in Freeport, Ill. He died in 1993.
She was a 1931 graduate of Clinton High School.
She was employed with the Clinton Garment Co. for 26 years before retiring in 1978.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Clinton, and was a charter member of the Eagle Club Auxiliary.
Survivors include one daughter, Charleen (Willis) Anson of Camanche; two sons, Robert (Betty) Jensen of Atoka, Tenn., and Eugene Jensen of Clinton; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family requests that memorials may be made to Harmony House.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and three sisters.
