Visitation: One hour before the service time Friday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt.
SERVICES: 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Arndt officiating.
DEWITT — Alvada “Curley” Little, 86, died Monday at Westwing Place, DeWitt.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.
She was born Alvada Blanche Elizabeth Stahr on July 12, 1920, in Silvis, Ill., to Fred and Florence L. Balmer Stahr. He married Robert M. Little on Oct. 9, 1940, in Davenport. He died in 1994.
She attended beauty school in Moline, Ill.
She operated a beauty shop at her home in Geneseo, Ill. She and her husband moved to DeWitt. They owned and operated Kurley’s Kitchen in Grand Mound.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt.
Survivors include daughters, Myrna (Ross) Johnson of Geneseo, Sharon (Krieder) Gunderson of Davenport and Debbra Prier of Clinton; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (Warren) Pinter of Malden, Ill., and Helen Misfeldt of Davenport; one brother, Fred (Mary Ellen) Stahr of Moline, Ill., and one sister-in-law, Winnie Stahr of Amboy, Ill.
