Neva Caroline Rogers

Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m Friday at Frank-Law Jones Funeral Home, Mount Carroll.

SERVICES: 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Vidler, pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mount Carroll, officiating.

DARLINGTON, Wis. — Neva Caroline Rogers, 96, of Darlington and formerly of Mount Carroll, Ill., died Tuesday at Lafayette County Manor, Darlington, where she was a resident for more than 10 years.

Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Mount Carroll.

She was born Jan. 25, 1910, in Lanark, Ill., to August and Anna Bell Eacker. She married Harold A. Rogers on Aug. 24, 1930, in Sterling, Ill. He died in 1972.

She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mount Carroll.

Survivors include one son, Sheldon (Clare) Rogers of Shullsburg, Wis.; one brother, Edward (Marilyn) Eacker of Chadwick, Ill.; one sister, Hazel Fritts of Dixon, Ill.; one brother-in-law, Omar Wurster of Elizabeth, Ill.; one sister-in-law, Helen Eacker of Lena, Ill.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lafayette County Manor, 719 E. Catherine St., Darlington, WI, 53530 in her name.
