VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lemke Funeral Homes, Lyons Chapel, 2304 N. Second St.
SERVICES: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel AME Church with the Revs. John Fuller and Leoma Williams officiating.
CLINTON — Margaret Alice Jetter, 92, of Clinton, died Thursday at home.
Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was born Dec. 23, 1913, in Clinton to John T. and Effie I. Vinson Culberson. She married William C. Jetter Sr. on June 14, 1943, in Clinton.
She was a 1931 graduate of Clinton High School.
She worked at the Rock Island (Ill.) Arsenal, for Montgomery Ward and founded Jetter Hauling with her husband.
She was a member of Bethel AME Church, Atlantha Stewart Missionary Society, a 50-year member of Leah Chapter 8 order of the Eastern Star and a past worthy matron.
Survivors include two daughters, Marguerite Peters and Dorothy “Dina” White, both of Clinton; two sons, William C. Jetter Jr. of Moline, Ill., and John A. Jetter of Clinton; 13 children; 25 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to the Vinson Jetter Youth Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, three brothers and three sisters.
