Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. E.C. Clair Lathrop, pastor of First Reformed Church in Fulton, will be officiating.

MORRISON, Ill. — Florence Vander Vinne, 104 , of Four Seasons Living Center, Morrison, and formerly of Fulton, Ill., died Wednesday at the center.

Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Arlyn Stuart, Steven Vander Vinne, Mark Pruis, Roger Keisel, Dwayne Houzenga and Dale Vanderlaan.

She was born April 1, 1902, in Fulton to Harry and Grace Huizenga Geerts Sr. She married Peter Vander Vinne on Feb. 6, 1923, in Ustick Township, Ill. He died in 1982.

She was educated in Whiteside County grade schools.

She and her husband farmed in Ustick and Newton townships until retiring in 1958 when they moved to Fulton. She moved to Morrison in 1991.

She was a member of First Reformed Church, Fulton, and the church’s Helping Hand Society.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Balk of Fulton, Mrs. Louise Bielema of Albany and Frances (Bernard) Houzenga and Dorothy (Mrs. Neil) Johnson, both of Morrison; one son, Maurice (Loretta) Vander Vinne of Morrison; 25 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to First Reformed Church, Fulton, or Four Season Living Center, Morrison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, one sister, five brothers, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.
