William E. Dash

Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ken Greeley, pastor of Clinton Church of Christ officiating.

CLINTON — William E. Dash, 94, of Clinton, died Wednesday at the Alverno Healthcare Facility, Clinton.

Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

He was born Jan. 1, 1912, in St. Maries, Idaho, to to Leroy and Ida Schultz Dash. He married Evelyn Goodell on June 20, 1934, in Clam Falls, Wis.

He was employed with Stewart Poster Advertising for 33 years before retiring in 1972.

He was a member of Clinton Church of Christ and also served on the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Douglas (Shirley) Dash and Gary (Delores) Dash, both of Clinton, Robert (Janet) Dash of Albany, Ill., Bruce (Michelle) Dash of Camanche and David (Brenda) Dash of Waipahu, Hawaii; one daughter, Judy (Robert) Voda of Clinton; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Louise Hromatko of Luck, Wis., and Dorothy Cheney of Knox, Ind.; and two brothers, Chester Dash of Niles, Mich., and Richard Dash of Wilder, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters and one foster son.

Death date: Dec. 20, 2006
