SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Curl, pastor of Morrison United Methodist Church, officiating.
MORRISON, Ill. — Harry Rick, 84, of Morrison, died Friday at his home.
Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
He was born April 21, 1922, in Malvern, Ill., to Harry and Rachel Carlton Rick. He married Sarah Eleanor Hammer on Dec. 25, 1947, in Morrison.
He was educated in rural Whiteside County (Ill.) grade schools.
He owned and operated Rick Contruction, in the Morrison area, He also worked with several contractors before starting his own business.
He was a member of Morrison United Church.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Diane Rick of Milwaukee, Debby (Charles) Makarius of Circleville, Ohio, and Dawn Holt of Cherry Valley, Calif.; one son, David (Brenda) Rick of Bayfield, Colo.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Alda (Ray) Borowicz of Leesburg, Fla.; and one brother, Donald (Irene) Rick of Gainsville, Fla.
Memorials may be made to Morrison United Methodist Church or the Victory Center, Clinton.
