SUN CITY, Ariz. — John Joseph Kent, Jr., 88, of Sun City, died Dec. 6.
Menke Funeral Home, Sun City, is handling arrangements.
He was born Nov. 26, 1918, in Battle Creek, Mich., to John Kent and Pearl Tiffany. He married Jeanette Hoop in 1939. She died in 1999.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He retired after 35 years as a purchasing agent for DuPont in Clinton.
He was a member of AMVETS, Alpha of Sun City and past president of the Clinton Bowling Association.
Survivors include his children, John (Julie) Kent of Chicago, Michael (Maxine) Kent of Mount Pleasant, Mich., and Barbara (Bob) Dewell of Goodyear, Ariz.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, wife, a son and a grandchild.
Memorials can be made to Hospice of Arizona.
