MESA, Ariz. — Geraldine Ehredt, 89, of Mesa and formerly of Savanna, Ill., died Saturday at the Desert Terrace Nursing Facility, Phoenix, Ariz.
Burial will be in Savanna Township Cemetery.
She was born July 18, 1917, to James and Gwendolyn Bennett Sorenson in Thomson, Ill. She married Floyd Ehredt on Dec. 31, 1935. He died in 1970.
She was educated in Savanna schools and graduated from Savanna High School in 1934.
She worked with the National Bank, Savanna, and then as secretary to the superintendent of schools for 23 years.
She was a charter member of Savanna Community United Church of Christ and an associate member of Desert Heritage Church, Mesa.
A memorial fund has been established in her name with Community United Church of Christ, Savanna.
