INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Patrick L. Bark, 69, of Independence and formerly of Clinton, died Dec. 2 in Independence.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
He was born March 17, 1937, in Clinton to Alan “Jabber” and Dorothy Straton Bark. He married Donna Jean Eversoll on March 13, 1955, in Clinton. She died in 2000.
He worked with Local Union 111, Rock Island, Ill., as an ironworker. During retirement, he bought and sold heavy equipment for construction.
Survivors include three sons, Michael (Donna) Bark of Savanna, Ill., Patrick Bark Jr, of Gold Hill, Ore., and David (Angie) Bark of New Haven, Ind.; one daughter, Karen Bark of Kansas City, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jim (Geraldine) Bark of Camanche.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, one grandchild, one brother and two sisters.
