George L. Feldpausch

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Pape Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Salvation Army Citadel, Clinton, with Majs. James and Elizabeth Beardsly and Capt. Fred Mead officiating.

CLINTON — George L. Feldpausch, 72, of Clinton, died Friday at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton.

Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Harris, Ricky Long, David Williams, Mark Johnson, Kevin Susie, Jeremy Mills, Edwin Selser and Jesse McDaniel.

He was born Dec. 28, 1933, in Orange Township, Clinton County, to Lawrence and Clofia Nelson Feldpausch. He was married to Leone Lahmon for more than 17 years. He later married Dixie L. Feldpausch.

He was a member of the Salvation Army where he attended the men’s fellowship group.

He was self-employed salvage man.

Survivors include his wife, Dixie of Clinton; nine daughters, Karen (David) Williams and Dawn Mohr, both of Clinton, Cathy Feldpausch of Calamus, Mary Humphreys and Sandy (Richard) Long, both of South Beloit, Linda (Tony) Ramsey of Clinton, Pamela (Allen) Otto of Burlington, Becky (Andy) Seamster of Low Moor and Trischa (Patrick) Harris of Clinton; six sons, Robert (Sue) Feldpausch of Calamus, James Feldpausch of Clinton, Charles (Carol) Feldpausch of Colorado, Michael (Sherry) Mohr of Clinton and Gary Mohr and Gabriel (Beth) Schipper, both of Davenport; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary (Greg) Riebschlager of Clarksville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one daughter.

Death date: Nov. 24, 2006
