Rev. A. MCMILLAN died at the home of his son Rev. D. W. MCMILLAN yesterday morning. Mr. MCMILLAN had followed the vocation of a Presbyterian minister for many years until about five months ago when he gave up his calling and came to the city of Lyons to reside with his son. During his work in the state he became well known through his hard and earnest efforts put forth in the interest of the Home Missionary society.

Born in Ohio in 1722, he spent his boyhood days in that state moving to Iowa when a young man. Five years ago he followed the bier of his wife to its last resting place in the city of Grimes after which he again took up his work until but a short time ago when his health compelled rest. The funeral services will be held at Ottumaw, Iowa this afternoon at 2:30.
