Carl P. Salutz
Services for Carl P. Salutz, 54, 2122 Roosevelt Street, who died of a heart attack at 3:30 p.m. Saturday while reading a book in the Lyons branch library, will be held at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Boniface church. The Rev. Louis J. Rohret will officiate and combined military rites will be inducted by the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Ex-Service Men's association. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in the Snyder funeral home.
Mr. Salutz was born Oct. 4, 1891, in Clinton the son of Florian and Elizabeth Salutz. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of St. Boniface church, the Holy Name Society and June Van Meter post 190, American Legion.
He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. M.T. McCarthy, Mrs. Charles F. Overkamp and Mrs. John E. Purcell; Mrs. J.L. Malm, Albany, New York, and Mrs. Charles F. Ralff, Kingston, New York, and three brothers, Edward F., Clinton; Leon M., Valders, Wis., and John J., Los Angeles, Calif.
