Mrs. Carrie A. Brown

Services for Mrs. Carrie A. Brown, who died Wenesday in Boone, were held today in the Snell funeral home. The Rev. L. D. Havinhurst officiated. Mrs. Walter Bockel was organist and Mrs. Glen Doyne was soloist.

Pallbearers were Paul Spangler, Robert Kratz, Loren Van Sant, Dwight Van Sant, Dillman Wilson and Clarence Stamm.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Eaton of Boone and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brown of Monmouth.

Mrs. Brown is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Chauncey Depue of Clinton and Mrs. Eaton; one son, Harold Brown of Monmouth; one sister Mrs. Daniel Stamm of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Charles and Edgar Van Sant, both of Clinton; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
