CLINTON — Marion Lingle, 76, of Clinton, died Wednesday at the Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton.
She was born Dec. 20, 1929, to Harry and Elsie Franck in DeWitt. She married Francis “Bud” Lingle on July 25, 1953, at St. Mary’s Church.
She graduated from DeWitt High School.
She was employed with Clinton Corn. She managed the payroll department.
She was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish.
Survivors include one son, Mark (Mariann) Lingle of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Chris Lingle of Clinton; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Swanson of Cedar Rapids; one brother, Robert (Brenda) Franck of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandchild.
