Visitation: 3:30 to 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Nelson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church with an additional viewing from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. The Rev. David Brownfield will be officiating.

DEWITT — Timothy B. Tague, 51, of DeWitt, died Monday at home.

Pallbearers will be Mike and Matt Kuehl, Vince and Brian Hafner, Dave McDonnell, Steve Seifert, Terry McDonnell, Christopher Tague and Logan Frost.

Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, DeWitt.

He was born Sept. 24, 1955, in DeWitt to Maurice “Sparky” and Mary McDonnell Tague. He married Kathleen Bradshaw on July 21, 1979, at St. Ann’s Church, Long Grove.

He served in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserves during the Vietnam and Gulf wars.

He was employed with A-L-L Equipment Inc., Moline, Ill., in the maintenance repair department.

He was a lifetime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, DeWitt, where he served on the parish council, home and school association. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was on the board of directors of the Crisis Pregnancy Center and the Catholic radio station.

Survivors include his wife; children, Anne Tague of Ames, Becky Tague of St. Louis, Bill (Lindsey) Tague of DeWitt and Colleen Tague at home; four sisters and three brothers, Lynne (Alvin) Kuehl and Jan (Rick) Hafner, both of DeWitt, Chris Lemmon of Warsaw, Ind., Maureen (Mike) Frost of Twin Lakes, Wis., Charles “Roy” Tague of West Point, Va., Dave (Deanna) Tague of DeWitt and the Rev. Paul Tague of El Paso, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law.
