Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa, where a 4 p.m. American Legion Ladies Auxiliary service will be held.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ruth Ann Scott officiating.

DELMAR — Wanda C. Clark, 75, of Delmar, died Monday at her home.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.

She was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Maquoketa to Edward and Edna DeMoss Batey. She married Orpheus M. “Junior” Clark Jr. on April 14, 1949, in Nashua. He died in 1994.

She was a 1949 graduate of Maquoketa High School.

She worked at the Maid-Rite, Maquoketa, while in high school for two years. She then worked with Clinton Engines, Maquoketa, for 29 years, and Hoof Products/DynaGear, Maquoketa, for 14 years before retiring in 2000.

She was a member of the Eagle Club, Maquoketa, and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Maquoketa.

Survivors include one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and one son-in-law, Dennis Ehlers of Andrew.

A Wanda C. Clark Memorial Fund has been established.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, one brother and four sisters.
