SERVICES: Private services Thursday at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt. Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
CLINTON — Lillian E. Walker, 98, of Clinton, died Monday at Wyndcrest Nursing Home.
She was born May 21, 1908, in DeWitt to John and Albertine Thiede Brandenburg. She married Marion Bumann on Nov. 11, 1925. She later married Albert E. Walker on July 21, 1950, in Clinton; he died in 1971.
She was a homemaker. She also was a clerk with Petersen’s Grocery Store and later at Leslie’s Grocery Store.
Survivors include four daughters, Norma (Dick) McCrea of Fulton, Ill., Donna (Mick) Grinnall and Janice Kunavich, both of Clinton and Jacklyn Weldy of Davenport; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one daughter, both husbands, three grandchildren, four sisters and four brothers.
