Visitation: 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, where a Scripture service will be held at 3:15 p.m.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary’s Church, with the Rev. Thom Hennen officiating.

CLINTON — Josephine V. “Jo” Lackermann, 76, of Clinton, died Saturday at her home.

Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Will Lackermann, Abe Stephenson, Danny Divane, Dylan Fletcher and Katherine and Karen Lackermann.

She was born Dec. 23, 1929, in Chicago to William and Ellen Cullen Barr. She married William Lackermann on Aug. 27, 1955, in Chicago.

She graduated from Sacred Heart High School, Chicago, in 1947. She received her nurse’s training at St. Joseph Nursing School and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from St. Francis College.

She was employed with St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital for more than 16 years.

She was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish.

Survivors include her husband; five children, William (Jan) Lackermann Jr. of Centerville, Ohio, Gregory (Christine) Lackermann of Clinton, Dr. Ellen Lackermann and her husband, Neal Stephenson of Seattle, Laura Lackermann Divane of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Linda (Robert) Lackermann-Fletcher of Waterville, Mass.; 13 grandchildren; and one brother, William (Edna) Barr of Antioch, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Prince of Peace Building Fund.
