SERVICES: Noon Thursday at the funeral home, with Pastor Josh Jensen of the Evangelical Free Church, Chadwick officiating.
MOUNT CARROLL, Ill. — Marci Lynn Spencer Robinson, 50, of Prophetstown, Ill., died Tuesday at her home.
She was born July 5, 1956, in Clinton to Gilbert L. and Glenda E. Ashby Spencer.
She was a 1974 graduate of Chadwick High School, Chadwick, Ill. She graduated from Sauk Valley Community College, Sterling, Ill., as a registered nurse.
She currently was employed by Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Prophetstown. She worked many years for CGH Medical Center in Sterling and Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mount Carroll.
Survivors include a son, Randy (Michelle) Robinson of Carol Stream, Ill.; a grandson; her son’s father, Tim Robinson of Mount Carroll; her boyfriend, Michael Mendenhall of Prophetstown; her mother, Glenda E. Spencer of Janesville, Wis.; a brother, Martin Spencer (partner Roger Eyechaner) of Machesney Park, Ill.; a sister, Marnay Spencer (partner Rose Wittnebel) of Janesville, Wis.; and two aunts Bette (Richard) Gillespie, of Gainesville, Fla., and Norma Strukhoff of Thomson, Ill.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
