LARKSPUR, Colo. — Robert Vern Oliver, 85, of Larkspur, died Thursday in Denver, Colo.
He was born Oct. 26, 1920, in Clinton to Robert and Ruth Ewing Oliver. He married Kitt McKone on May 20, 1950.
He graduated from Clinton High School in 1938.
He served in World War II in the South Pacific.
He worked with Johnson Service Co. for many years.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Patrick (Linn) of Arvada, Colo.; one daughter, Kelly (Jim) Zajicek of Security, Colo.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Eva (Ken) Nyquist, Margaret (Warren) Young, both of Clinton and Phyllis Morgan of Orlando, Fla.; one brother, Edward (Dorothy) Oliver of Zephyrhills, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, two sisters and his parents.
