Frances M. Becker, 81, of Clinton, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006, in her home.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at Lemke Funeral Homes, Clinton Chapel, 2600 Lincolnway.
Private family services will be on Friday at Lemke Funeral Homes, Clinton Chapel, 2600 Lincolnway, with Pastor Wayne Wiersema officiating.
Burial will take place in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Faur, Travis Winter, Tiffany Rickertsen, Trevor Petersen, Tyler Sullivan, and Mark Simpkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe and Eymard Wanzek Jr., Michele Sullivan, Taylor Winter, Justin Faur, and Ashley Buckman.
She was born May 17, 1925, in Clinton, Iowa to Robert and Fannie (Marsh) Birkett.
She attended school in Clinton.
She married Richard Knight. She later married Karl Winter. She later married Lowell Becker. He preceded her in death.
She worked for Jane Lamb Hospital, in the Housekeeping Department, for over 26 years.
Survivors include 5 daughters, Sharon Simpkins-Knight, of Silvis, IL, Donna (Eymard) Wanzek Sr. of Camanche, Bonnie (Tom) Fuller, of Clinton, Karlynne (Faur) Buckman, of Clinton, and Karen Winter, of Clinton, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 very special grandson, Travis Winter, of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son William “Whitey” Winter, 3 husbands, 1 grandson, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.
