SERVICES: 3 p.m. Thursday at Law Jones Funeral Home, Savanna, with Pastor Paul Sturn officiating.
SAVANNA, Ill. — Dorothy J. Kurth Chase, 97, of Lancaster, Wis., and formerly of Savanna, died Monday at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Lancaster, Wis.
Burial will be in Savanna Township Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 5, 1909, in Savanna to Harry and Katharine Ring Swingley.
She married Earl Kurth on Aug. 18, 1929, in Freeport, Ill. He died in 1978. She later married Clarence Chase in February of 1979. He died in 1984.
Survivors include two sons, Robert “Bob” (Doris) Kurth of Middlebury, Ind., and Arland Kurth of Lancaster; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
