SERVICES: 1 p.m. private service Thursday at Crossroads Cemetery, Plano. The Rev. Kay Singley will be officiating. Nelson Funeral Home, DeWitt, is in charge of the arrangements.
DEWITT — Betty Harbold, 86, of DeWitt, died Sunday at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport.
She was born June 26, 1920, in Plano, Iowa, to Merle and Ova Samuelson Jones. She married Wayne Harbold on June 26, 1941, in Kirksville, Mo.
She graduated from Plano High School.
Survivors include two sons, David Harbold of DeWitt and Merlyn Harbold of Chicago; one daughter, Diane (Fred) Neil of Boca Raton, Fla.; one sister, Joann (Gene) Glenn of Plano; three brothers, Dale and Don (Karen) Jones, both of Plano, and Gary Jones of Brownsville, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
