CLINTON — Peggy Clary, 71, of Clinton, died Friday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Clary, Nick Petersen, Mitchell Kimbell, Nathan Kimbell, Toddy Lohse, J.P. Correll and Dustin Petersen.
She was born Sept. 20, 1934, to Alfred and Ruth Stauffer Parker. She married James Clary on Nov. 26, 1952, in San Antonio.
She attended Clinton schools.
She was employed with General Electric, Best Western Frontier as a waitress and worked with Holiday Gas Station. She also owned and operated Clary’s Collectables and Poltergeist Pub.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lisa (Todd) Lohse of Dayton, Ohio, and Chris (Craig) Kimbell of Unadilla, Neb.; one son, James (Mary) Clary Jr. of Clinton; one sister, Pat Jenkins of Clinton; one brother, Alfred Parker Jr. of Clinton; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Clinton Renal Dialysis Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.
