Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. today at Miller-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Preston.

SERVICES: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Salem Lutheran Church, Spragueville.

SPRAGUEVILLE — Geneva D. Bahr, 84, of Spragueville, died Tuesday at Jackson County Regional Health Center, Maquoketa.

Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Spragueville.

She was born Nov. 11, 1921, to Fred and Mary Buschmann Bahr in Spragueville.

She attended Fairfield 4 School, Spragueville, and graduated from Preston High School in 1939. She also attended Wartburg College, Waverly, for two years.

She worked with civil service before retiring in 1985. She also spent time working at the United States Naval Reserve Center, San Pedro, Calif.; Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Waukegan, Ill.; and Naval Operational Logistics Center, Mechanicsburg, Pa.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Spragueville; Women of WELCA and was its secretary; and Jackson County Regional Health Center Auxiliary.

Survivors include one sister, Geraldine Lambert of Spragueville; one nephew and one niece; one great-nephew; and cousins.
