Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Thomson.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dave Davies, pastor of Hope United Methodist Church, Chadwick, officiating.

THOMSON, Ill. — Frank Felix Manning, 81, of Thomson, died Tuesday at Big Meadows Nursing Home, Savanna, Ill.

Burial will be in Upper York Cemetery, Argo Fay, Ill.

He was born June 4, 1925, in Salem Township, Ill., to Frank and Lizzie Eisenhour Manning Sr. He married Helen Hans on Aug. 31, 1946 in Ideal, Ill.

He worked as an artificial insemination technician with Prairie State Select Sires. He also farmed and hauled bulk milk.

He was a member of Hope United Methodist Church, Chadwick, a past master in the Black Oak Grange and member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bill (Lola) Manning and Kenny Manning, both of Thomson; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
