CHADWICK, Ill. — Irene M. Andresen, 100, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, Ill., formerly of Chadwick, died Aug. 8 at the nursing home.
Inurnment will be in Chadwick Cemetery, Chadwick, followed by a time of fellowship and a luncheon at the church.
She was born July 2, 1906, in Chadwick, to Conrad and Emma Daehler Geisz. On Jan. 16, 1929, she married Jens D. Andresen in Clinton. He died in October 1985.
She attended Emerson Country School in rural Chadwick and graduated with the Class of 1924 from the Chadwick High School.
She was a lifelong member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chadwick.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Darlene (Jack) Ladd Hogan of Farmington, Maine, and Arliss Andresen of Fulton, Ill.; one son, Harold (Kay) Andresen of Chadwick; five grandchildren; and five great-grandsons.
