Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion American Lutheran Church, Wyoming. Lahey Funeral and Cremation Services, Wyoming, is in charge of arrangements.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Tim Miller officiating.

SOLON — Connie Jean Brodersen, 60, of Solon and formerly of Wyoming, died Monday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Her body has been cremated.

She was born April 5, 1946, in Anamosa to Melvin and Jean Janes Wilslef. She married Lawrence Brodersen on May 24, 1964, in Wyoming.

She was a member of Zion American Lutheran Church, Wyoming.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Heidi (Rodger) Ruiz of Houston and Heather Brodersen of Oahu, Hawaii; two sons, Heath (fiancee, Kelly Rose) Brodersen of Houston and Pete (Dani) Brodersen of Ely; three grandchildren; her mother, Jean Wilslef of Anamosa; three sisters, Helma Schultz of Eagle Grove, Ruth (Ed) Hoover of Shelby Township, Mich., and Rhonda (Ken) Walters of Wyoming; and two brothers, Marvin Wilslef of Oxford Junction and Norman “Buster” (Donna) Wilslef of Wyoming.
