Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wendell Davelaar, pastor of First Christian Reformed Church in Fulton, officiating.

FULTON, Ill. — Ethel B. Tiesman, 95, of the Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton and formerly of Fulton, died Tuesday at the nursing facility.

Pallbearers will be Dan, Mike, Scott and Arnold Tiesman, Bruce Kuipers and Pete Klassen.

Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery.

She was born July 25, 1911, in Garden Plain, Ill., to Peter and Jennie Muur Bronkema Sr. She married Edward E. Tiesman on June 15, 1971, in Fulton. He died in 2004.

She worked with E.I. DuPont, Clinton, before retiring in 1971.

She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church, Fulton, and the church’s Dorcas Society.

Survivors include one stepson, Allen (Karen) Tiesman of Fulton; three stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchidren; three nieces; one nephew; and one great-niece.

Memorials may be made to Unity Christian School, Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and three brothers.

Death date: Aug. 15, 2006
