The Clinton Herald Wednesday August 4, 1993 p. 15 Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Prince of Peace Parish, St. Irenaeus Catholic Church for Marie K. Holdgrafer, 76, of 415 18th Ave. N. who died Monday at her home. The Rev. Thomas Parlette will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 9 p.m. today at Pape Funeral Home where a vigil service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons; Eric, Gary, Brian and David Holdgrafer, Kevin Kloft and Travis Simmons. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren. Mrs. Holdgrafer was bron April 23, 1917 in Sugar Creek to William and Magdelena Zeiser Banowetz. She married M. Joseph Holdgrafer Nov. 16, 1937 in Sugar Creek. He died Feb. 6, 1991. She and her husband had farmed in the Bryant area before retiring and moving to Clinton. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Bertha) Andresen of Iowa City, Mrs. Wayne (Shirley) Kloft of Miles and Mrs. Steve (Donna) Simmons of Preston; two sons, Kenneth and Ronald, both of Bryant; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Banowetz of DeWitt and Arthur Banowetz of Preston; a sister, Loretta Lampe of Clinton. She was preceded in death by a sister.
