CHADWICK, Ill. — Irene M. Andresen, 100, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home in Fulton, Ill., and formerly of Chadwick, died Tuesday at the nursing home.
She was born July 2, 1906, in Chadwick to Conrad and Emma Daehler Geisz. She married Jens D. Andresen on Jan. 16, 1929, in Clinton. He died in 1985.
She attended Emerson Country School in rural Chadwick and graduated in 1924 from Chadwick High School.
She was a homemaker.
She was a lifetime member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chadwick.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene (Jack) Ladd Hogan of Farmington, Maine, and Arliss Andresen of Fulton; one son, Harold (Kay) Andresen of Chadwick; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
