Annetta S. Carber

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Chris Minor-Helig officiating.

CLINTON — Annetta S. Carber, 91, of Clinton, died Sunday at the Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton.

Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

She was born Sept. 26, 1914, in Charlotte to Carl and Anna Pennigroth Jensen. She married George Carber on July 14, 1934, in Clinton. He died in 1989.

She was a homemaker.

She was an active member of Lyons United Methodist Church and taught Sunday school.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Robert) Reed of LeClaire and Janet (Richard) Spain of Englewood, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be made to the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son and two brothers.

Death date: Aug. 6, 2006
