Audrey Wells Tegeler-Jordan

Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Friday at Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. RoyAnn V. Mathews, pastor of Assembly of God Church in Fulton, Ill., will be officiating.

ALBANY, Ill. — Audrey Wells Tegeler-Jordan, 85, of Albany, died Monday at Mercy North Hospital.

Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bill Warner, Wayne Anglese, Tom and Bill Callahan, Travis and Jacob Jordan, D.J. Tegeler and Ron Bedford.

She was born March 31, 1921, in LeClaire to Alfred J. and Mabel Gilbert Wells.

She graduated from Fulton High School and attended Central Bible College Zion, Ill., for two years.

She married Maurice Tegeler in 1940 in Fulton. He died in 1944. She then married Alvin Jordan on Aug. 8, 1970, in Moline, Ill.

She had worked with the Chamber of Commerce and YMCA, both in Dixon, Ill., and then with the village of Albany as its treasurer.

She was a charter member of the Albany Tri-Township Heritage Historical Society.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Karen Marie (Gary) Tegeler-Callahan-Altman of Papillion, Neb.; one son, Donald Maurice (Nancy) Tegeler of Spring Grove, Ill.; one stepdaughter, Belinda Haigwood of Fulton, Ill.; one stepson, Stephen (Beth) Jordan of Albany; four grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 10 great-granchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Stewart of Moline; and one brother, Alfred L. (Dorothy) Wells of St. Cloud, Fla.

Memorials may be made to the Albany Fire Department Dive Team.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and one sister.
