Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Morrison, preceded by a 10 a.m. family prayer service at the funeral home. The Rev. William Antillon, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison, will be officiating.

MORRISON, Ill. — Miriam E. Wagenecht, 86, of Morrison, died Tuesday at Trinity at Terrace Park, Bettendorf.

Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.

Pallbearers will be David Vanderlaan, Stuart Richter, Dale Wagenecht, Joe Wagenecht, Douglas Jorgensen and Peter Kerbel.

She was born Aug. 16, 1919, in Morrison to Frank and Anna Mae Beetle Fletchic.

She attended Morrison grade schools and graduated from Morrison High School.

She married Robert W. Wagenecht on March 2, 1946, in Morrison. He died in 2002.

She retired from Kline’s Department Store, Sterling, Ill., in 1981.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Charles (Rosalie) Wagenecht of DeKalb, Ill., and Steve (Mary Ellen) Wagenecht of Davenport; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Odell Public Library, Morrison, or mass offerings.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and one brother.
