SERVICES: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Weissenbeuhler officiating.
CLINTON — Maxine M. Evers, 83, of Clinton, died Friday at the Alverno Health Care Facility.
Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Jackson, Scott Evers, Tim Sikkema, Tom Monahan, Tim Arvola and Gilbert Bott.
She was born Jan. 21, 1923, in Clinton to Hans and Bertha Dierks Bott. She married Wayne Evers on Jan. 21, 1944. He died in 1986.
She graduated from Lyons High School in 1943.
She and her husband farmed in rural Clinton until retiring in 1977.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a volunteer at the Ericksen Community Center with the senior citizens card group.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Survivors include one daughter, Janet (Larry) Jackson of Clinton; one son, Garth (Susan) Evers of Clinton; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
