Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. today at Gibson Funeral Home, Erie.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fenton United Methodist Church.

FENTON, Ill. — Everett J. Graham, 85, of Fenton, died Friday at St. Francis Hospital, Bartlett, Tenn.

Burial will be in Fenton Cemetery.

He was born Sept. 15, 1920, in Albany, Ill., to John and Lucile Barnett Graham. He married Lois Meyer on July 19, 1944, in Morrison, Ill. She died in 1997.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a waist gunner on a B-24 airplane. He flew in 22 missions over Europe.

He was a farmer and retired from Deere Harvester, East Moline, Ill., in 1985 after 21 years of service.

He was a member of the Denton Schreiner American Legion, Erie, Ill., Whiteside County Farm Bureau and Erie Senior Citizens. He also was a member of Fenton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Gayle (Kenny) Tegeler of Fenton and Jodi (Paul) Schersand of Arlington, Tenn.; three sons, Craig (Phyllis) Graham of Fenton, Jon (Connie) Graham of Geneseo, Ill., and Jeffrey (Charlene) Graham of Erie; 11 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 18 stepgreat-grandchildren; two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; one sister, Vada Drury of Morrison; and one brother-in-law, Delbert Slaymaker of Erie.

Memorials may be made to the church.

He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
