Robert E. "Bob" Luckritz, 77, of Clinton, Iowa, died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at Davenport Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 25, at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the service time Friday, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Bob is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of Clinton; three children, Sandra Van Every and Larry (Teresa) Luckritz, both of Clinton, and Gary (Mary) Luckritz, of Santa Fe, New Mexico; six grandchildren, Ryan and Josh Van Every, Bill Fye, McKenna and Chandler Schwartz and Aaron Meier; a brother, Hobert "Hub" (Joan) Luckritz, a sister-in-law, Lois Kinkaid Luckritz, and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Dierks, all of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Elmer and his wife, Dorothy, Kenneth "Kenny" Luckritz, a sister, Geraldine "Gerry" and her husband, Richard "Dick" Cline, and his father-in-law, Stanley Dierks. Memorials may be given to Clinton Humane Society or Davenport Good Samaritan Center.

Wednesday, March 23, 2005 12:53 PM CST Robert E. (Bob) Luckritz, age 77, of Clinton, died Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Center in Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 25, 2005 at the Pape Funeral Home with the Rev. James Machen officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home and from 10:00 A.M. until the service time Friday also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Merle Miller, Bob, Herman and Stan Dierks, and Ryan and Josh Van Every. Bob was born on August 16, 1927 in Clinton the son of Walter and Clara Ketelsen Luckritz. He graduated from Lyons High School in 1945. Bob was an Army veteran of WW II having served in Germany. Bob married Phyllis Dierks on April 2, 1949 in Clinton. Bob was employed with the U.S. Postal service for 34 years retiring in 1982. Bob, along with Harold "Pete" Petersen owned and operated L & P Janitorial Service. He also ran the Luckritz Boat Dock and after his retirement drove a motor route for the Clinton Herald in Illinois. Bob was a member and had held several offices at the former Odeon Club. He was a member of the Clinton Masonic Lodge and the KAABA Shrine. Bob is survived by his wife Phyllis of Clinton; three children, Sandra Van Every and Larry (Teresa) Luckritz both of Clinton and Gary (Mary) Luckritz of Santa Fe, New Mexico; six grandchildren, Ryan and Josh Van Every, Bill Fye, McKenna and Chandler Schwarz and Aaron Meier; a brother Hobart "Hub" (Joan) Luckritz; a sister-in-law Lois Kinkaid Luckritz and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Dierks all of Clinton and several nieces and nephews.
