Anne "Shirley" Stuedemann, 68 of Seneca, IL died Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Ottawa Funeral Home in Ottawa and one hour prior to services at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca by the Rev. Kris Zierke. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Seneca. The Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home, Seneca, IL is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Troy and Josh Bott (grandsons), Jay Onken (son-in-law), Scott Kunau, Barry and Fritz Stuedemann (nephews) and Greg Provance (friend).
Anne was born May 17, 1937 in Clinton, IA the daughter of George and Marian (Hinrichsen) Kunau. She married Don W. Stuedemann on May 4, 1958 at Chancy Lutheran Church in Clinton, IA.
Anne was a member of Our Savior¿s Lutheran Church in Seneca. She worked at the Community Hospital of Ottawa for 24 years retiring in 2005.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters Kathy Bott of Seneca and Barb (Jay) Onken of Meridanville, Al, three sons Dan (Marji) Stuedemann of Seneca, Dave (Erin) Stuedemann of Marseilles and Doug (Dawn) Stuedemann of Seneca, 15 grandchildren Troy, Josh, Ashley and Alex Bott, Matt and Samantha Stuedemann, Drake, Aspen, Willow and Forest Stuedemann, Nicholas and Nathan Stuedemann, Elizabeth, Jacob and Michael Onken, two brothers George (Betty) Kunau of Clinton, IA and David (Sharon) Kunau of Wichita, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials can be made to the church.
She will be greatly missed and forever remembered as a loving grandmother, mother, wife and friend.
