The Clinton Herald Thursday May 28, 1914 p. 8 Mrs. Hans Harderson died Wednesday night at her home in Thirteenth avenue at 7:30 o'clock, after having suffered four months with cancer. Mrs. Harderson was born in Germany in 1859, coming directly from that country to Clinton thirty-two years ago, where she had since resided. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, two sons, Hans and John of Montana; four daughters, Mrs. B.L. Hinebrook, Mrs. Clinton Campbell of Montana and Katherine and Clara at home. Four children preceded her in death. She was a member of the Harugari society and the German Gilder. The funeral arrangements will not be made until word has been received from the sons of Montana.

The Clinton Herald Friday May 29, 1914 p. 6 The funeral of the late Mrs. Hans Hardersen will be held at the home in Thirteenth avenue Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. av. H.J. Rendall of the Presbyterian church will be in charge and interment will be in the Springdale cemetery.
