Mildred Eggers 09/08/2002 CLINTON, Iowa -- Mildred H. "Mickey" Eggers, Clinton, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2002, at her home. According to her wishes, there will be no public visitation and a private family funeral service will be Tuesday at Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. She worked in the office at A.C. Nielsen Co. for many years; retiring in 1988. Mildred Lohmeier was born July 30, 1923, in Argo Fay, Ill. She married Peter A. Eggers in 1948 in Dixon, Ill. He died in 1986. Memorials may be made to Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program in Clinton. Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Smith, Clinton; a grandson; a brother, Blaine, Livingston, Texas; her special friend, Larry Knee, Clinton, with whom she made her home.
