The Clinton Herald Saturday July 30, 1994 p. 9 The funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home for Hannah Eggers, 91, of 704 No. 3rd St. Clinton, who died Thursday at Samaritan North. The Rev. Brian Hagglund of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate. There will be no vivitation. Burial will be in the Andover Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Norman Robert and Jim Garson, Moe Asaadi, Harlan Quick, and Scott Cunningham. Mrs. Eggers was born Oct. 28, 1902, in Clinton County, Iowa, to Detlef and Emma Schoel Andersen. She married Henry Eggers, Nov. 3, 1926 in Clinton. He died in 1968. She worked at the Herrity Bakery for a few years, and was also a homemaker. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include two daughters, Joan Thomas of Charlotte, and Mrs. Raymond (Ethel) Gordon of Glen Dora, Calif.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Edna Krogman of Clinton; a brother Andrew Andersen of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, three sisters, and two brothers. Death date: July 28, 1994.
