The Clinton Herald Saturday March 1, 1969 p. 5 Services for Mrs. Edward Eggers, 70, Route 3, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Shadduck-Connon funeral home. Lothar Lengtat, Jehovah Witness minister will officiate. Burial will be in Andover cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. this evening. Pallbearers will be grandsons John Jaeckle, Allen Eggers, Robert McDonnell, Duane Eggers, Steven Mattke and Gene Eggers. Mrs. Eggers, the former Henrietta Huebner, died Friday night in Jane Lamb hospital. She was born in Teeds Grove, March 18, 1898, the daughter of Henry and Mary Klinge Huebner. Following her marriage to Edward Eggers on Nov. 26, 1919, the couple farmed in the Teeds Grove area. She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses of Savanna, Ill. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Garnet of Miles and Russell of Savanna; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Mattke of Clinton, Mrs. Gloria McDonnell of Teeds Grove and Mrs. John (Mary) Siebels of Amber, Iowa; four brothers, Walter and Leo Huebner, both of Clinton. Ernest Huebner of Teeds Grove and Harold Huebner of Savanna; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were one daughter and one grandson.
