The Clinton Herald Thursday April 29, 1976 p. 10 Edward A. Eggers, 80, Teeds Grove, died Wednesday at Jane Lamb Hospital. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Preston with the Rev. Lee Mentink, Faith Lutheran Church, Andover, officiating. Burial will be in the Andover Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Eggers was born Dec. 31, 1895, in Clinton County to Henry and Helena Stoltenberg Eggers. He married Henrietta Huebner Nov. 26, 1919. The couple farmed in the Andover-Teeds Grove area. Survivors include two sons, Garnet of Miles, and Russell, Savanna; three daughters, Mrs. Rudy Mattke and Mrs. Gloria Jepsen of Teeds Grove, and Mrs. John (Mary) Siebels, Anamosa; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert, Teeds Grove and Herman, Hauntown; four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Lange, Andover, Mrs. Kamm Smith, Mrs. Leslie Struve and Mrs. Viola Struve, all of Hauntown. He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, three brothers and two grandchildren
