The Clinton Herald Saturday April 11, 1931 p. 5 Edward Eggers, 22, living near Andover, died Saturday morning at 2 o'clock in Jane Lamb hospital where he had been a patient the past week, following a three weeks' illness. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon with a prayer in the home at 1 o'clock, followed by funeral services in St. John's Lutheran church at 2 o'clock. The John F. Schulz will officiate. Deceased was born January 1, 1909 in Hampshire township. He attended the rural schools and Clinton school. He was baptized in the Lutheran church, and was a member of the confirmation class at St. John's church now receiving instructions. Besides his parents he is survived by four brothers and one sister, Clifford, Peter, Raymond, Leonard and Erma at home.
